Pixel RePresents celebrates women in Hip Hop by reimagining classic tracks and album artwork using Pixel’s Real Tone, paying homage to the genre's pioneers while elevating new female talent.

We captured their creative process in mini-documentaries, highlighting Pixel’s Real Tone and its commitment to inclusivity while honoring Hip Hop culture.

Then, at Hip Hop 50 LIVE at Yankee Stadium, Pixel powered a memorable moment: Snoop Dogg called Too Short on a Google Pixel phone, bringing him on stage to perform “Blow The Whistle.” Flo Milli then debuted her take on the track, as part of the RePresents campaign.

PATRÓN partnered with Mass Appeal to deepen their connection to the culture and showcase craftsmanship with some of the most respected creators. Grammy Award-winning producer Hit Boy ventured to the PATRÓN headquarters in Jalisco, Mexico to experience the refined process of ‘El Alto' and draw inspiration for an original track,“2 Live” featuring Hip Hop superstar Offset.

The experience became a two-part documentary that explored the synergy between the two creative fields. The track received national airplay on terrestrial radio and was playlisted on the most significant playlists for months.

Our major global exhibition of over 200 photographs (from 1972 to 2022), traces the rise and proliferation of Hip Hop through five decades of work from the trailblazing photographers who helped codify Hip Hop as the most influential movement of its generation.

The exhibit included weekly programming with Hip Hop artists and influential voices who hosted workshops, private photo shoots, panels, performances and intimate chats. Launching in NYC in Jan 2023, the exhibition is currently open in Stockholmand will travel globally.

HIP HOP 50 LIVE at Yankee Stadium  was celebrated  on Hip Hop’s actual 50th birthday where it all began in the Bronx. 

Our Star-Studded Concert featured  50+ DJs, artists, legends and surprise guests. Highlights included a tribute to Kool Herc & Cindy Campbell, a “Queens of Hip Hop” set and performances by some of  Hip Hop’s most iconic artists, including; Nas, Ms. Lauryn Hill,  Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg,Fat Joe, Wu-Tang among many others.   

The entire event was produced by Mass Appeal, Live Nation and the NY Yankees and  live streamed globally on YouTube.

adidas Original cypHERS created a new platform championing originality, individual expression and sisterhood. The project celebrated cross-generational collaboration and female empowerment while re-introducing adidas Originals to the culture in a distinct way. 

Artists from  Houston and Atlanta  produced two original tracks released through Mass Appeal Records, supported with behind-the-scenes content and  unique music videos shot at  iconic locations in each city.

For Grow With Google's Black Women Lead, an initiative to provide digital skills training to 100,000 Black women across the U.S., Google engaged Mass Appeal to develop the overarching creative strategy and visual brand guidelines, and execute all creative and promotional assets for the program and its partners. 

Partners consisted of alumni chapters of the Divine Nine Sororities (Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho), The Links, and Dress for Success.
